Farm League - Two Divisions; ages 4-6
Tee Ball (4u & 5u)
The objective of this division is providing a positive introduction to baseball & softball and get the kids to like the game. 50 foot bases will be used. Everyone hits and learns the basics of infield play. No outs are kept. Runners advance one base at a time, continuous batting order and the last batter hits a “home run” to clear the bases. Offense and Defense switch and repeat. Game sessions are 90 minutes which includes a 30 minute practice to teach throwing and basic fielding fundamentals. 60 minute game to follow.

Coach Pitch (7u)
Fundamentals and Instruction of how the game is played. Everyone hits, outs can be made but do not end the inning. A Tee will be brought out if a player is unable to hit off a Coach.
Minors - 2 Divisions; ages 7-11

Players pitch from 40 ft, balls and strikes are called, 3 outs end an inning. A Coach will come in to pitch after 3 nonconsecutive walks and there is no stealing. Coaches will be out on the field during games with players for instruction.

Majors rules except 3rd drop strike. Players pitch from 46 ft, stealing bases and pickoffs.
Majors Division - Age 9-12
Majors Softball
The Little League Softball division (sometimes known as the Major Division) is for players ages 9-12. The field uses a 60-foot diamond and a 40 foot pitching distance. We may dual-roster 12-year-olds, assessed capable, to a Major and a Junior division softball teams. The league chooses a Tournament Team (or "All Stars") of 11-12-year-olds from within this division, and the team enters the International Tournament. The culmination of the International Tournament is the Girls Little League Softball World Series, featuring teams from around the globe. All expenses for the teams advancing to the World Series (travel, meals and housing) are paid by Little League International. Games are six innings or two hours, whichever comes first. A maximum of five runs per ½ inning are allowed or three outs, whichever comes first, with the exception of the last inning. Home games are played at Varsity F1 softball field. The teams are drafted in accordance with approved by-laws and playoff seedings are determined by regular season records.
Majors Baseball
The Little League Baseball Division (also known as the Major Division) is for boys ages 9-12. Windham LL has chosen to limit its Major Division to 10-, 11- and 12-year-olds. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet. The league chooses, in accordance with our by-laws, a Tournament Team (or "All Stars") of 11-12-year-olds from within this division, and the team enters the International Tournament. The culmination of the International Tournament is the Little League Baseball World Series, featuring teams from around the world. All expenses for the teams advancing to the World Series (travel, meals and housing) are paid by Little League International. Games are six innings or two hours, whichever comes first. Games are played at Ciccarone field. The teams are drafted in accordance with approved by-laws and playoff seedings are determined by regular season records.
